In 2022 I became a Cat Daddie, her name is Tabitha. I got her at the end of June 2020 and she is now 8 months old.
Around this time I usually talk about New Year Resolutions and how I do not do them. Yet, I have always set out what I hope to achieve in the new year ahead. I managed to achieve some of those goals for 2020. However, this year I am planning ahead, although at the moment my plans are still under wraps. at least for the next few months. I have a lot going on and if all goes well I will give you an update in a few months time. If not sooner.

It’s celebration time. My third book is in paperback. All three books are available on Amazon in paperback and ebook. They are also available in ebook form on Apple Books and Kobo. This seems like a long time coming, probably because of the pandemic. However, this is not the end of my journey. I feel I am scarcely out of the harbour on this voyage of discovery. I hope you will join me on my writing journey ahead as I continue to write what I hope will be many more books before I go on the ultimate journey.

Yes, it feels like Christmas. The proof copy of Book 3 in paperback has arrived. I have achieved my first goal for this year. The book will be in paperback on Amazon by the end of the month. I am now back working on Book 4 after rereading the first draft. I have a lot of rewrites to do and a lot of chapters to finish.

What can I say? The pandemic really messed with my ability to get things done. A year late the rewrites and edits for Book 3 are now finished. It will be in paperback later this March. I am now back working on book 4 and doing edits as so much of the first draft needs rewritten. But ho hum, that’s what you do with first drafts. Turn them into second drafts, and so forth until they are worth reading. Updates will be made to ebook 3 on Apple Books, Kindle and Kobo in the next fortnight. I will post once I have had confirmation that the updates are live. Anyone who has ebook 3 should check that their ebook reader is set to update files. Later this month, the paperback of book 3 will be on Amazon as well.

Looking back at 2021, it was a pretty mixed bag. At least I have now had 2 vaccinations and a booster for COVID-19. I also had a flu jab in November 2021. Several people I know have caught COVID-19; thankfully because of vaccinations they are still with us. My condolences go to all those who have lost someone in 2021. Sadly, my dog Hope passed away on 6th July 2021. I have not yet found another dog, and I do not know if I will.
Last year I pulled the paperback of Book 2 in my series: “The Legend of Zanta Klaus.” Title: “And Hell Followed After.” Sub-title: “Where He Goes, The Light Will Follow.” from sale on Amazon. It is now back on sale in paperback on Amazon.
The 28th of November started as a nightmare when I looked out the kitchen window at 6am to see snow coming down. Thankfully, by the time I arrived at the Assembly Roxy for the Cymera Roxy Takeover, it was wet underfoot and not snowing. Resolutions – Ok for those of you that have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that I do not do new year resolutions. After all, they just get broken, especially over the last 2 years. The only goal I achieved last year was to get book 2 into paperback. Oh, and still being alive. Having said that. Here it comes. My goals for the next 6 months include.
Hopefully, I can achieve these 3 things. If I have learned anything during this pandemic, it is to keep my goals few and achievable; do them and then set new goals.
